Selected design work
Social Media Post, BLM Charlotesville
Social media graphics need to be bold and clear. I wanted to create something that put the words at the forefront and encouraged people to read the full statement.
Invitation, Black Love Resists in the Rust
The goal of the invitation was to create something with a bit of professional elegance, softness, and clarity.
Poster, Ahya Simone
Ahya inspired me with a status on Facebook to make a quote from her words. The goal was a play on motivational posters that's soft with a futuristic color palette.
Logo, Trans People of Color, Virginia
Designed for Trans People of Color, Virginia, 2017. The client wanted a logo that could be used for a banner and also smaller uses. I love pink and blue gradients to represent transness because it adds some fluidity between the two colors and suggests less of a binary.
Poster, Just Buffalo Writing Center
I wanted to make something lighthearted, that offered a lot of space for text, and communicated a little bit of fun. Something the youth would like would also represent the Center well.
A speculative brief for an African chocolate bar company.
